Hello there! My name is Alberto, and I have loved astronomy since a young age. Having decided to commit myself to it, I graduated in Oceanography at the University of Vigo and completed a master's degree in Astrophysics at the University of La Laguna.
I am currently pursuing a PhD in Physics and Space Sciences at the Instituto de Astrofísica de Andalucía with an FPI-Severo Ochoa contract. My research focuses on unveiling the origin and evolution of Neptune and sub-Neptune planets, combining their discovery with the characterization of their atmospheres using instruments such as MuSCAT2, CARMENES, or CRIRES⁺.
In addition to my research work, I have spent more than a decade collaborating with the Fundación Ceo, Ciencia, e Cultura (FC3), where I have participado en science outreach initiatives and projects aimed at bringing science closer to students of all ages.

Since 2014, I worked with the Fundación Ceo, Ciencia e Cultura (FC3), an organization that operates an astronomical observatory in Forcarey, Galicia. During this time, I was involved in a wide range of science outreach activities aimed at bringing astronomy closer to the general public and to students of all ages.
My work included guiding night sky observation sessions, giving telescope demonstrations, and leading visitors through the observatory facilities. I also regularly delivered talks and educational activities in schools, sharing the excitement of astronomy and encouraging curiosity about science and the Universe.
